Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer System Integration specialist to join our dynamic team in Berlin this role you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects combining Java development skills with DevOps practices and system integration expertise.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services
- Assist in implementing DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
- Help maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues in development and production environments
- Learn and apply best practices in software development DevOps and system integration
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Strong foundation in Java programming and object-oriented design principles
- Basic understanding of DevOps practices and tools
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. OpenShift)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Basic scripting skills in languages like Yaml or Bash
- Experience in test-driven development
- Experience in the financial sector would be considered a plus
