Job Summary
- Assemble and test hydraulic components
- Observe instructions and regulations relating to environmental protection when carrying out assigned duties
- Notify supervisor of any deviations
- Maintain tools and equipment through preventative maintenance activities.
- Recommend and implement value added changes to processes.
- Cross-train on other functions within the team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment with daily cleaning (5S) activities.
- Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as assigned by Team Leader and Group Leader.
Qualifications :
- 1 - 2 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
- College Diploma in Fluid Power Technology or equivalent considered an asset
- General knowledge of hydraulic components including mounting and operation
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.
- High school diploma is required
- Motivate the assembly group through effective service to all key stakeholders
- Quality oriented with good communication skills
- Organized ability to multi-task with a strong customer service orientation
- A team player motivated self-starter who can work effectively with minimal supervision or in a group environment
