Key Responsibilities
- Maintain lab inventory prepare media and manage supplies
- Safely handle compressed gases and cryogenic liquids
- Clean and monitor temperature units fume hoods and biosafety cabinets
- Track equipment maintenance and calibration using electronic systems
- Coordinate workflows across departments using digital tools
- Manage lab notebooks logbooks and documentation reconciliation
- Support recurring equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
- Organize and label lab spaces according to SOPs
- Complete safety and procedural trainings
- Perform tasks in areas handling potent chemical compounds
- Participate in weekend and overtime schedules as needed
Qualifications :
- Associate degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. stand/walk for extended periods and move equipment
- Familiarity with cGMP and electronic systems
- Self-motivated adaptable and team-oriented
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information :
The position is full-time Tuesday through Saturday with the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
