Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Location: Greenville SC 29605
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (06:00 16:30)
Start Date: Approximately 3 weeks after contract signing
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Greenville South Carolina. The ideal candidate will bring advanced clinical skills and professionalism to a high-acuity surgical environment supporting a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional cardiac patient care.
Requirements
License: Active South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
Certifications: AHA BLS (required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year recent CVOR RN experience
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions accepted)
Schedule & Call Details
Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (06:00 16:30)
Call: Minimum of 2 call days per week and 12 weekends per 6-week schedule based on department needs
Overtime: As scheduled by department
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
RTO Policy: All requests must be submitted at time of application; approval subject to facility needs
Floating Policy
While every effort is made to keep staff in their assigned unit travel nurses must be prepared to float to other qualified units or nearby facilities based on census and staffing requirements. Floating will only occur within the nurses demonstrated competency areas.

Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgical patients
Assist with setup intraoperative support and post-procedure care
Ensure sterile technique and compliance with OR protocols
Collaborate with surgeons perfusionists anesthesiologists and surgical staff
Monitor patient vitals and manage hemodynamic stability during procedures
Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and safety checklists
