About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planner/Buyer to join our dynamic supply chain this role youll be responsible for scheduling production managing material requirements and purchasing components to ensure optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery. Youll play a key role in maintaining production efficiency cost optimization and supplier performance across assigned product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage production schedules for assigned product lines.
Analyze customer orders and sales forecasts to create manufacturing and purchase orders.
Monitor open customer manufacturing and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Perform inventory purchasing and production system transactions as needed.
Schedule and execute MRP runs; purchase required components and materials.
Maintain accurate item master data and update planning parameters (lead times reorder points safety stocks etc.).
Manage purchase orders records and supplier communications including discrepancy and quality issue resolution.
Recommend optimal inventory levels based on supplier lead times and market conditions.
Support changes to BOMs artwork revisions and supplier transitions related to new product introductions or obsolescence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and finance to ensure alignment and efficiency.
Track and communicate purchase price variances and industry trends that may affect supply availability.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or Logistics (or related field).
Minimum 2 years of experience in planning purchasing or supply chain management.
Experience working with MRP systems and enterprise ERP platforms preferred.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective problem-solving critical thinking and collaboration skills.
Behavioral Competencies:

Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
