What Youll Do As a Sr Engineer Technical Operations you will:
- Design and develop manufacturing processes that align with company strategies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects to improve quality productivity and cost efficiency using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Collaborate with R&D New Product Introduction Quality Assurance Manufacturing and Finance teams to drive process improvements.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation of designs processes test methods and data analysis.
- Provide technical support to suppliers and vendors including site visits and implementation of process improvements.
- Develop proposals and cost estimates for projects and process enhancements.
- Mentor and provide guidance to engineers and project team members.
- Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Manufacturing or Process preferred).
- 45 years of experience in engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean tools/methodologies.
- Solid project management and business/financial acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with FDA and other regulatory guidelines.
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks Ideas).
- Experience with PCB design software (e.g. OrCAD Altium).
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
