Highlights of our campus include 60000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics ambulatory surgery center birthing center with private birthing suites Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services 92 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. Built on the pillars of convenience wellness and person-centered care we offer inpatient and outpatient care at one site with an emphasis on preventive health wellness and health education.


The surgery department at St. Anthony North Health Campus Hospital consists of 8 OR rooms 1 cysto room 1 minor procedure room a GI room and a room for pain management. We are an ortho heavy department - fracture management total hips knees and shoulders and the ortho service continues to grow. We also perform general ENT GYN urology spine and plastics. The patient mix is comprised mainly of adult surgical patients. Patient care is provided for adult geriatric adolescent and pediatric patients. Our mission is to provide safe care to the surgical patient. Job Summary and Responsibilities

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20000 sign-on bonus!*

As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff authorize work procedures and assign duties shift charge as well as:

  • Demonstrating strong clinical judgment and ensuring high-quality care delivery to each patient.
  • Acting as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintaining communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Provides input and recommendations to the director/manager oncoaching mentoring and performance management of associates.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating communicating and collaborating with both thehealthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical emotional and spiritual needsof the patient.
  • Act as a professional role model for all staff by demonstrating ethical/legal/professional nursing.
  • Promotes the optimal health well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Actively serves on unit as a registered nurse and may take patient assignments based on unit and patient needs and acuity.
  • Being personally accountable for relationship-based care organizational mission and core values.

* Previous OR Experience across multiple service lines required**

**Previous Leadership Experience preferred**


Day to Day:

  • Run front desk in the OR.
  • Ensure assignments for staff meet the daily the next days assignments.
  • Communicate case changes to staff support and coach staff to build confidence and growth.
  • Hold staff accountable to policy and high standard of practice.
  • Collaborate with the lead Anesthesiologist on daily case flow and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of educational programs/ practices for department associates.
  • Act as leadership within the department to support staff Manager and Director.
  • Will also be used on occasion to help out in the rest of the OR.
  • Clinical role - taking over rooms when coming in and any add ons throughout the night.
  • Prep rooms for next days cases when no surgeries are going on.
  • Coming in if needed and acting as department resource.

8 OR Suites 1 Cysto Room1minor procedure room

Anticipating an addition of two new ORs by Oct 2025


Approx. 600-700 cases per month


Schedule- 40 hrs/Week- Variable shift times/days per surgical Volume and current unit needs

Call required- Approx. 4-6 call shifts per 6 week schedule block. May Vary

Weekend Call isweekday call 1900-0730

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:

Education

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required
  • BSN preferred

Licensure

  • RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable required
  • Nursing Specialty Certification preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.

Physical Requirements

  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs frequently and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
