HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Roel:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses.
- This position is responsible for:
- Assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care including but not limited to
- Scheduling patients
- Patient hygiene/toileting
- Mobility assistance
- Interdepartmental transportation
- Vital signs
- Charting
- Ordering supplies
- Cleaning and stocking patient areas
- Chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .
- Assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care including but not limited to

- RN/Nurse Manager
Supervises:
- None
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school.
Required Experience:
- None
Preferred Experience:
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience preferred.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- None
