Tintern Grammar is seeking to appoint a Sports Centre Assistant and Gym Instructor to work within the school. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Sport and be an integral member of the Sports Department.

About the Role

Tintern Grammar is seeking to appoint a Sports Centre Assistant and Gym Instructor to support the daily operations of the Sports Centre and Gym providing administrative support to the Sports Department and delivering fitness instruction sessions for both staff and students. The role also assists in the coordination and delivery of the Schools sport programs interschool fixtures and House carnivals throughout the year.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sport and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the Sports Centre facilities.

You are an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for sport fitness and student wellbeing. You will demonstrate:

• Careand connectedness with students

• Relevant qualifications as outlined in the position description

• Valid Working with Childrens Check (employee)

• Passion for sports fitness and student coaching

• Strong IT skills

• Strong communicationand organisational skills

• The ability to encourage andmotivate students

• Highly developed interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

• You will havea desire to work collaboratively with other staff and actively engagein the broader life of the School.
