Serves as the clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal genitourinary and integumentary systems such as complex draining wounds ostomies fistulae dermal ulcers tubes and incontinence.
Prepared to provide the full scope of WOC(ET) nursing practice which also includes other components such as education counseling research and administration.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute care or wound care setting preferred.
Licenses/Certification Requirements
- RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the Amercan Heart Assoc required
- Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse required
