This role the Shop/Fleet Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of the fleet vehicles and production machinery. Now this has different meaning than what you might be thinking if youre coming from a traditional garage; here you might be doing maintenance and repairs on trucks and cars. But you may also be working on aerial lifts forklifts mini- excavators and other manufacturing equipment. No day is ever the same!

What will you do in your job

Perform repair work on vehicles: breakdowns and malfunctions
Follow flow procedures including documenting correct mileage/hours saving and tagging all warranty and core parts documenting all repairs on work order using complaint cause and correction format
Follow parts ordering/billing procedures
Perform preventive maintenance on off-road equipment such as lubrications adjustments and safety inspections

What do you need to do this job

High school diploma required
Vocational or college related coursework -OR- experience equivalent required
Current Drivers License
Must be mechanically inclined (of course!)
Work independently
Communicate well
Be highly organized
Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems
This position is located IN Plymouth WI- remote work is not possible.
