Job Summary

Field Supervisor

THE ROLE

The Field Supervisor supports the operations team by overseeing allinstallations and field activities ensuring projects are profitable deliveredon time and meet high customer satisfaction standards. This role acts as a keycommunication link between installation partners sales design operationsand project management. Responsibilities include pre-planning for majorinstallations refining work order packets analyzing costs and participatingin inter-market projects.

THE DAY TO DAY


  • Develop work plans schedules and logistics based onproject scope and customer goals.
  • Reviews plans and requirements with installationpartners during pre-installation meetings.
  • Conducts site visits field measurements and projectwalk-throughs as required.
  • Manage field crews overseeing their performancedevelopment and accountability to Workplace Resource standards and customersatisfaction.
  • Trains installation teams on products and procedures;interfaces with contractors trades electricians cabling personnel andbuilding management.
  • Coordinates with intermarket teams for product pricingand order execution.
  • Acts as a champion for customer satisfaction throughoutall phases of installation and field operations.
  • Provides clear direction guidance and support to fieldcrews and installation teams.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability teamwork andcontinuous improvement.
  • Leads by example demonstrating integrityprofessionalism and a commitment to excellence.
  • Effectively manages conflict and resolves issues withinthe team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

AND YOU HAVE


  • 3 years in field supervision installationestimating/scheduling or project coordination.
  • Furniture dealership experience is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of product installation labormanagement and material handling.
  • Knowledge of electrical/cabling interfaces and buildingservices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specificsystems.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
