Job Summary
Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher looking for a new teaching position from January We are supporting a Good-rated secondary school in Luton that is seeking a motivated Science Teacher to join their successful and well-resourced Science department. This is a full-time and permanent appointment suitable for an experienced teacher or a confident well-supported ECT ready to take on their next challenge.
About the Role
You will teach Science across KS3KS4 with the opportunity to teach your specialist Science area (Biology / Chemistry / Physics) to KS5 depending on your background and experience. The department has strong shared curriculum planning practical investigation resources and structured progression pathways that make teaching feel purposeful and well-supported.
You will work alongside a collaborative team of Science teachers who meet regularly to share effective practice develop resources and review assessment data. Practical science is valued here technician support is strong laboratories are well-maintained and the school encourages the use of demonstrations and enquiry-based learning.

We are Seeking a Science Teacher Who:
Holds QTS and a degree in a Science-related field
Can deliver well-sequenced and engaging lessons that support progress
Can teach a Science specialism to KS5 or is willing to be supported into it
Is reflective professional and committed to student success
Values teamwork and constructive communication
Salary & Benefits
Paid on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) to Upper Pay Scale (UPS) depending on experience.
Strong ECT induction available where applicable.
