Hi! Im Agry technical co-founder at Nejo. Were building a job search platform thats fundamentally different from anything else in the market. Weve already attracted over 250000 users in our beta phase and now were looking for an experienced Software Engineer whos excited about transforming how people find their next career opportunity.

As a Software Engineer youll own critical features that make Nejo the only job platform candidates want to use - from our intelligent search (that goes waaay beyond the status quo) to AI-assisted interactions and many other features that users have already requested along the entire lifecycle of job search.

We build based on evidence not opinions. Every feature we ship starts with user impact estimation and ends with data validation. You think always yields to Users show. Everyone at Nejo is expected to immerse themselves in our users world regardless of their role.
We move fast. The fastest learner takes the market. When in doubt we ship it out and iterate based on real feedback. Fast beats perfect though we recognize when quality needs to take priority.
We use AI intelligently - not just in our product but in our workflows. We understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI-supported development and we use it to accelerate our work without compromising on quality.
Communication is KEY. Sharing an opinion is not optional but required. We need someone ready to speak their mind.

- You have a proven track record of professionally developing and delivering software
- Youre very comfortable with React webapps TypeScript and Python with a willingness to dive as deep as necessary. Experience with is a plus.
- Experience with vector databases and recommendation algorithms is a plus
- You make decisions based on data and clear hypotheses not gut feelings
- You have strong opinions weakly held and seek to back opinions with evidence
