Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN basis at our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Pittsfield MA. The CNA will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff assisting residents with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care including assistance with bathing dressing grooming toileting and mobility.
- Assist residents with meals feeding and hydration as needed.
- Take and record vital signs weights and other measurements accurately.
- Observe and report changes in residents physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized resident environment.
- Support residents emotional well-being through respectful and compassionate interaction.
- Adhere to facility policies procedures and infection control standards.
- Participate in shift reports and team meetings as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
Required Qualifications:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Massachusetts (required).
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
