Job Summary

General Ledger (GL) Accountant

Location: Miami FL 33126

Pay Rate: $40 $45

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary (potential for extension during ERP implementation)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant with a strong background in SAP to join our clients accounting team during an exciting ERP implementation phase. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to play a key role in financial operations while supporting system migration and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare and review journal entries accruals and account analyses.

Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the ERP (SAP) implementation providing accounting input and testing support.

Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in system transition documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.

3 years of general ledger experience.

SAP experience strongly preferred.

Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Adapted to and operated in both old and new systems during implementation.

Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

$40-$45/hour paid weekly on Fridays.
