Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients requiring infusion therapy with a focus on oncology and hematology treatments. The role involves administering chemotherapy blood transfusions IVIG hydration and iron infusions. The RN will work collaboratively within a team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
- Perform blood transfusions IVIG hydration and iron infusions.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and complications during and after infusions.
- Document patient information accurately and completely in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float between similar units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Chemotherapy certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Experience with oncology and hematology patients.
Special Considerations:

- Must be willing to float between like units.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period.
- No on-call requirement.
- RTO must be included at time of submission.
Scheduling:
- 4x10 day shifts Monday-Friday.
- Wednesday off.
- Schedule determined per manager discretion.
