Job Summary

Title : Design Engineer

Location : Cape Canaveral FL 32920

Contract : 12 Month Contract to hire

Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship required

Shift : 4/10-1st Shift

Pay : $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr on W2!

Job Description:

Engineers & Designers will work closely with MGSE engineers to provide component or portions of system designs to include handling lifting test assembly and transportation of mechanical and electrical components. The selected candidates will be responsible for engineering documentation drawing/Computer Aided Design (CAD) maintenance and verification and support of cross-discipline product development.

- Use of CREO to develop plans drawings models revise and initiate formats for parts assemblies and installation engineering

- Create new parts drawings BOMs assemblies simplified reps shrinkwraps

- Support team members with design knowledge

- Complete layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices (ASME Y14.5)

- Prepare complete production detail drawings

- Completes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate manufacturing operations

Additionally All Engineer applicants shall have:

Professional experience using a 3D CAD system (Creo NX SolidWorks etc.)

Experience with machine tool design or tool modification

Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

US Citizenship required
