Job Summary

OB Registered Nurse - Job Summary (List Format)

- Provide direct care for antepartum intrapartum and postpartum patients (including high moderate and low risk) in a labor and delivery setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient and family-centered care.
- Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong communication prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Float among OB/GYN units as needed to meet changing patient volume and acuity demands.
- Participate in orientation and training for various competencies and modes of care across the OB service line.
- Required to work 12-hour shifts 4 days per week on a rotating schedule.
- At least 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience required; OR and triage experience highly desired.
- Must hold a valid NY RN license.
- Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association) and Neonatal Resuscitation.
