The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and testing high-performance liquid propulsion systems within a fast-paced startup-style environment. This role requires a mix of mechanical design expertise test familiarity and the ability to take ownership from concept through hot-fire validation.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 4 years of propulsion development experience ideally with tap-off cycle engines
- Proficiency in NX or equivalent CAD tools for mechanical design
- Proven experience with turbomachinery-design and analysis of turbines pumps or other high-speed rotating machinery
- Strong understanding of engine cycles fluid dynamics and thermomechanical design principles
- Hands-on experience in test operations and data analysis (engine or system-level)
- Skilled at working cross-functionally in dynamic R&D teams
- Thrives in startup-style environments that demand adaptability and broad technical ownership
- Open to relocation and on-site collaboration
