THE ROLE
The FlashBlade organization develops an advanced all-flash storage solution for consolidating fast file and object data. A new aspect to our work is an initiative that is close to our customers and impacts every level of the FlashBlade organization. This high profile project offloads our support load and gives more control to customer administration over clusters.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Redesign components that have become bottlenecks in old infrastructure.
- Focus on testable design. Automation is extremely important.
- Robustness of our components is important. We keep ownership of everything we deliver.
- Introduce ideas on how to improve.
- Python Go Java REST/gRPC services on AWS (EC2 RDS CloudWatch) with CI/CD via Jenkins and Spinnaker observability in Datadog.
- Cloud architecture and deployment experience (AWS)
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Strong communication skills and sense of ownership
- Fluency at least in one programming language (preferably Python)
- Openness to learning more about different languages domains platforms
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across both software and deployment stacks
- Knowledge of application & system design. Ability to learn adopt improve.
- Self-motivation you will be expected to be the technical lead on projects
- AWS experience would be a plus
- Experience working with Kubernetes containers is nice to have
- Storage product experience would be beneficial
