Job Summary
Job Title: CT Technologist (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: Akron OH 44307
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 3x12-Hour (10:30 AM 11:00 PM)
Block Scheduling: Not Available
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services within a hospital-based radiology/cardiology department. The technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans assisting in procedures and ensuring accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
This role requires flexibility to work rotating weekends and participate in on-call coverage. New Years Eve (NYE) coverage is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and exposure techniques for optimal imaging quality.
Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.
Assist with procedures including operating room imaging as needed.
Participate in rotating weekend coverage and one on-call weekend day per month.
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Document and maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience required.
ARRT Certification required.
Must be a Registered CT Technologist.
Willingness to learn new procedures and support OR imaging when needed.
Flexibility for holiday and weekend assignments.
