D&R Autoworks is a leading independent automotive service center in Highland Park IL specializing in European vehicles including BMW Mercedes-Benz Audi Volkswagen and Porsche. Were seeking a skilled European Automotive Technician (B-Level) to join our growing team.
- Shop Location: D&R Autoworks 1454 Old Deerfield Rd Highland Park IL 60035
- Shop Hours: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM CST
What Youll Do:
- Diagnose repair and maintain European vehicles using OEM-level tools and equipment.
- Perform high-quality work that meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure excellent customer service.
- Stay current with training and certifications to maintain technical expertise.
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years of hands-on experience with European vehicles.
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
- ASE Certification preferred (or equivalent).
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Pay Structure:
Flat Rate: $25 - $35/HR
- Bi-weekly Guarantee: 65 hours at base rate if at least 80 hours are worked in the pay period.
- Accelerator Tiers:
- Tier 1: $4/hr for 6069.99 billed hours
- Tier 2: $6/hr for 7079.99 billed hours
- Tier 3: $8/hr for 80 billed hours
(Accelerators apply retroactively to all hours worked in the pay period)

- 3 years of Automotive Repair experience.
- Strong ability to diagnose and perform steering suspension & alignment services.
- Strong ability to diagnose and perform heating & cooling services.
- Some ability to diagnose and repair electrical related issues.
- Some ability to diagnose and repair engine related issues.
- Previous experience and/or working knowledge of digital vehicle inspections.
- Have your own tools and a valid drivers license.
- Strong character & work ethic with a positive attitude.
