Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design implement and maintain robust secure and scalable network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in routing switching firewalls and network performance management with a deep understanding of network protocols architecture and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design configure and support LAN/WAN wireless and cloud network environments.

Install maintain and troubleshoot routers switches firewalls VPNs and related network equipment.
-
Implement and manage network security measures ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
-
Monitor network performance availability and capacity identifying and resolving issues proactively.
-
Configure and manage firewalls (Cisco ASA Palo Alto Fortinet Check Point) and VPNs for secure access.
-
Collaborate with systems security and cloud teams to support infrastructure initiatives.
-
Perform firmware upgrades patches and configuration backups.
-
Create and maintain detailed network documentation diagrams and standard operating procedures.
-
Support disaster recovery and business continuity network planning and testing.
-
Participate in on-call rotation and provide Level 3 support for escalated incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
-
3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
-
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs VPN and routing protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP).
-
Hands-on experience with Cisco Juniper or Aruba networking equipment.

Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls load balancers and VPN concentrators.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds Nagios PRTG Wireshark).

Understanding of network security principles Zero Trust and segmentation.
-
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
-
Excellent communication documentation and teamwork skills.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
-
CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network or equivalent certifications.
-
Experience with SD-WAN VoIP and QoS implementations.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPCs Azure Virtual Network GCP networking).

Exposure to network automation tools (Ansible Python scripting).

Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec SSL L2TP).
-
Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) and Identity-based networking.
-
Understanding of SIEM and network log analysis for security operations.
