Join our Alpine Medical Affairs team to support the Nephrology Therapeutic Area with a focus on atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS). This entry-level internship mirrors key elements of the Medical Advisor role offering hands-on exposure to scientific operational and cross-functional activities.
What youll do
Scientific support: Conduct literature searches synthesize peerreviewed evidence and create clear scientific summaries and slides for internal and external use.
Content development: Draft and update FAQs briefing documents and congress materials (abstracts posters presentations) under guidance ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
Medical governance: Support internal medical review processes to align materials with corporate policies regulatory guidelines and medical affairs procedures.
Medical planning: Gather structure and analyze insights from internal sources and public data to inform disease area strategy and contribute to the Alpine Medical plan.
Evidence generation: Assist with documentation for clinical trials registries and realworld evidence (RWE) initiatives (e.g. site lists literature tables data checks).
Project management: Coordinate timelines stakeholder reviews version control and approvals for CME and publications; track progress to deliver on time and in scope.
Training and onboarding: Participate in trainings on disease state product knowledge medical compliance and the rare disease landscape.
What youll bring
Education: Recent graduate in medical or life sciences (e.g. MD PharmD MSc/PhD student in biomedical sciences).
Scientific and communication skills: Ability to appraise literature translate complex data into clear messages and present to small groups; confident slide creation.
Organization: Strong planning and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Languages: Fluency inEnglish and German.
Work setup:Officebasedinternship; no field presence required.
Nice to have
Rare disease exposure(immunology/hematology/nephrology coursework projects or internships).
Evidence generation familiarity(clinical development registries RWE fundamentals).
Digital proficiency(MS Office reference managers like EndNote data visualization tools collaborative platforms).
Strategic mindset(interest in medical planning metrics and continuous improvement).
Regional knowledgeof Alpine healthcare systems and stakeholders;French and/or Italianlanguage skills.
