PROFILE INTRODUCTION
The Expatriate Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient centered nursing care in accordance with international best practices and hospital policies. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient safety promote optimal clinical outcomes and uphold the highest standards of professional nursing practice
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver comprehensive evidence-based nursing care within the assigned specialty area.
Monitor assess and document patients conditions responding promptly to clinical changes and emergencies.
Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment relevant to the unit (e.g. ventilators dialysis machines surgical equipment).
Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention control measures and hospital safety protocols.
Assist physicians and colleagues during clinical procedures and participate in patient education initiatives.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement staff training and compliance with accreditation standards.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Kenyan citizen aged below 45 years.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Higher Diploma in any of the following specialties from an accredited institution:
o Critical Care Nursing (KRCCN)
o Perioperative (Theatre) Nursing (KRPON)
o Renal Nursing (KRNN)
Valid and current nursing license/registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in any of the following areas:
o High Dependency Unit (HDU)
o Critical Care Unit (CCU)
o Renal Unit
o Theatre/Operating Room
Valid BLS and ACLS certification.
Valid Kenyan passport and police clearance certificate.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multicultural and fast paced hospital environments.
