Job Summary
Verify360 is a global employment background screening company building its own in-house BGV (background verification) platform.
Key responsibilities:
Take over the current backend and understand the existing architecture quickly.
Build new features and automation to streamline verification workflows and reporting.
Integrate and manage third-party APIs (payments document management ID verification etc.).
Manage cloud deployments (currently on Hostinger KVM2 with plans to move toward AWS EC2/S3/RDS or similar).
Optimise SQL databases write safe migrations and ensure data security and compliance (GDPR/ISO-friendly).
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines logging monitoring and error alerts.
Work closely with the CEO and operations team to turn requirements into shippable features.

Must-have:
35 years of professional experience with Python (Flask/FastAPI/Django).
Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL): schema design query optimisation safe migrations.
Experience integrating REST APIs and webhooks.
Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments (AWS or equivalent) including deployment and basic security (IAM encryption).
Git-based workflows and CI/CD experience.
Strong debugging testing and documentation skills.
Nice-to-have:
BGV industry knowledge.
S3-compatible storage and preassigned URL experience.
Role-based access control audit logging or similar compliance-oriented features.
Understanding of ISO 27001/GDPR data protection.
