The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $16.20 - $20.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Work Environment Responsibilities
- Receive inspect and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy of quantities descriptions and condition of materials.
- Accurately record receiving data into warehouse management systems and update inventory records as needed.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards and warehouse procedures.
- Communicate promptly with Inventory Control Purchasing and Accounts Payable teams regarding discrepancies damaged goods or missing items.
- Assist with cycle counts stock rotations and reconciliation of inventory variances.
- Ensure all received goods are properly labeled stored and distributed to designated areas.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve shipping or delivery issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate receiving documentation including packing slips bills of lading and adjustment reports.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance receiving accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet jacks forklifts) safely and in compliance with company policies.
What We are Looking For:
- 18 years of age
- Able to speak read and understand elementary English
- Able to understand written and verbal instructions
- Organizational skills for record keeping
- Able to work minimum 40 hours per week
- Able to function in a warehouse environment
- Able to stand on feet for an extended period of time
Education:
Typically High School Diploma
