Job Summary
The successful candidate will demonstrate a balance of technical proficiency problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial initiativetaking ownership of results and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets are essential while experience with Business Central (BC) is a plus.
- Review sales forecast data customer supplied quotes and actuals sales orders to determine the most efficient operating schedule
- Limit changeovers and create a cohesive plan that allows for the shortest amount of time to change over between runs.
- Monitor and Cycle count inventory of finishing purchased parts
- Supply Purchasing requests to Procurement for replacement/ inventory stock of finishing purchased parts
- Analyze forecasts and production plan to determine where course corrections may be necessary
- Other reporting and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two-year degree in Supply Chain Management or business-related field required
- 3-5 years experience in a related field preferred
- Prior customer service or Planning experience
- Advanced Excel a must
- Experience with Dynamics 365 BC/Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus
