Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the plumbing industry
- Demonstrated success in sales/business development operations management project management and team leadership
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Management
- Lead mentor and develop department managers supervisors and field teams (service construction estimating administration etc.)
- Foster a culture of accountability safety and teamwork
- Develop and implement company policies procedures and performance metrics
2. Operations Oversight
- Oversee daily operations of plumbing service and construction projects
- Ensure all projects are completed on time within budget and meet quality standards
- Coordinate scheduling logistics and resource allocation across multiple teams
- Manage relationships with subcontractors vendors and suppliers
3. Financial Management
- Prepare and manage annual budgets forecasts and financial reports
- Monitor key financial indicators including revenue margins job costing and cash flow
- Approve purchasing and expenditures in accordance with company policy
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency
4. Business Development & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients general contractors and vendors
- Support estimating and sales teams in preparing bids proposals and negotiating contracts
- Identify new market opportunities and service offerings to drive revenue growth
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local plumbing codes and licensing requirements
- Oversee safety programs training initiatives and compliance documentation
- Promote a proactive culture of safety and risk management
6. Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with ownership to define short- and long-term business goals
- Analyze market trends and company performance to guide strategic decisions
- Implement systems technologies and processes to support scalable growth
