Job Overview

Marvin Roanoke is looking for a Production Trainer l to join the position is responsible for assisting leadership by developing and training production associates on current and new products ensuring that all quality standards and operating procedures are being followed. Advocate continuous improvement by insuring quality assurance safety and productivity in all departments.

Highlights of your role

  • Assist with training new employees on new job functions
  • Be familiar with or become familiar with all production operations
  • Train and certify production associates on positions that require certifications.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records for cross training quality notifications safety toolbox trainings etc.
  • Review safety and quality data daily while identifying training opportunities
  • Review SOPs created by engineering and recommend SOP changes when required.
  • Assist Supervisors with department employee performance by providing formative feedback.
  • Ensure quality standards are effectively followed and maintained.
  • Assist with in-process manufacturing audits.
  • Apply critical thinking to assist the Training team solve moderately complex issues or problems

Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • One year of related training experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience/training is strongly preferred
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Products (Word Excel PowerPoint SharePoint)
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate training and the sharing of thoughts and concepts in multiple formats with diverse audiences
  • Ability at problem-solving resilient when faced with challenges and skilled in planning and organization.
