Responsibilities:
- To process all new and used vehicle registration in the state in which the vehicle will be titled including the preparation of tax documents
- To submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- To verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder perfected before processing title applications
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
- To prepare transfer documents and enter accounting for dealer transfers and wholesales
- Maintain communication with ATC for all out-of-state title and registrations
- To comply and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work. Report list to management including a current list of outstanding titles to the controller at the end of each month
- To stay abreast of title regulations by attending seminars held by local licensing bureaus internet research and any other training available on title registrations.
- To answer customer questions accurately and courteously when dealing with title related questions.
- To maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- To process ST-556Xs as needed and follow up with the IL Department of Revenue
- Other duties may be assigned as time permits
Qualifications:
- License and Title is a must
- Knowledge of Vitua plus
- Dealership office experience preferred.
- Team player attitude
- Prompt and courteous
- Enthusiastic personality
- Must have strong computer skills
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen
