Location: Syracuse NY
Job Type: Contract Travel
Shift: MondayFriday 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (Rotating weekends and holidays as required)
Pay Range:

Local: $26.60/hr
Travel: $30.00/hr

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Sterile Supply Technicianfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.

Responsibilities

Decontaminate clean disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments and trays following hospital and infection control standards.
Operate sterilization equipment such as steam autoclaves Steris and Sterrad systems.
Assemble simple and complex surgical sets accurately for clinical use.
Conduct quality checks and monitor sterilization cycles for accuracy and reliability.
Maintain precise documentation for all sterilization and instrument tracking activities.
Respond promptly to urgent and emergency requests for sterile instruments.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and departmental safety protocols.

Qualifications

Completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician certification exam OR at least one (1) year of experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Strong knowledge of sterilization principles aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation.
Excellent organizational communication and time management skills.
