Job Summary

Plant Manager

Unitex is currently seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the production team in our industrial plant located in Linden NJ.

The salary range for this position is $100000 to $110000 (plus bonus). Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience seniority location and other permissible job-related factors.

Schedule:Monday - Friday 5:30am - 4:30pm/when the jobs are completed

MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK ADDITIONAL HOURS WHEN NEEDED.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain individual and department performance at established standards
Directly manage two Assistant Plant Managers up to five (5) Production Supervisors and all plant employees
Ensure production levels and productivity goals are achieved
Maintain daily reports
Hire Train and discipline employees as a means for achieving goals
Oversees high level of quality of product being sent to customers
Ensure that Unitex policies and procedures are implemented and followed

Job Requirements:

5 years managerial experience running a plant in a production/service environment
Bi-lingual English/Spanish highly preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic work setting
High degree of customer responsiveness
Understands production workflow / MS Office
Proven ability to manage to standards
