Job Summary
Description
We are looking for a volunteer to help the Library team with general administration and to help keep the Hospice Library up to date.
Your role will include some of but is not restricted to the following tasks:
- Make sure the books are tidy and in order on the shelves
- Filing including putting books journals etc on the shelves
- Photocopy articles as requested
- Deal with library loans and overdue letters
- Answer general enquiries when the Assistant Librarian is absent
- Use the management system for cataloguing books (training will be given)
- Help with the annual stock take of books and journals
- Count and record any money received
- Check invoices against orders and inform the Library Manager if they do not match
