Warehouse and Logistics Operative
Responsible for:
Providing efficient consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience and Diagnostic commercial divisions
Main tasks and duties:
To ensure that all pharmaceutical work completed meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
To receive and check goods inwards correctly store accurately process and despatch all product categories
To process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion
To be available for any out-of-hours working/call outs
To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
To understand and follow the principles of the companys Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems
To ensure in the absence of the Warehouse Manager that the warehouse is maintained in a neat clean and tidy state and in accordance with GDP
To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
Knowledge & Skills:
Experience in working within a warehouse environment
Using IT systems and databases
Stock management
High levels of IT literacy
Understanding of GDP
Ability to prioritise
Time Management
Fork-lift truck driving experience an advantage
Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Bioscience and Diagnostic industry an advantage
Time commitment:
Travel may be required for training/ to meet reasonable business needs.
35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes
