Job Description
The Opportunity:
Saint Lukes Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a Paralegal. This position supports the Claims Litigation and Insurance Department through reviewing and preparing various legal documents analyzing subpoenas facilitating responses to written discovery and handling various claims activities as assigned by attorneys. This person should reside in the KC area.
The Work:
- Generates and submits various reports to governmental agencies
- Communicates with internal clients regarding a variety of questions and concerns related to claims litigation and insurance matters
- Prepares claims data for presentations or Excel spreadsheets
- Provides administrative support as needed
- Maintains detailed and organized files in claims management system
