Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Industry standard certifications such as Comp TIA A or Microsoft.
- Two years of experience in computer support .
- Valid Driver License.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology computer science or a related field.
- Two years of experience in commercial or institutional food service operations.
- Ability to complete and pass the ServSafe Food Manager Certification.
- Three years of technical hands-on or management experience in infrastructure support including servers networks computers and related technologies.
- Four years of experience in computer network operations.
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education experience and/or certifications may be considered.
- Advanced Industry Certifications.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills; organizational and management skills; interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
- Knowledge of Federal Meal Reimbursement Programs such as the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs (NSLP & SBP) the Community Eligibility Provision Program (CEP) and the Summer BreakSpot Program.
- Ability to work with and lead diverse groups of people.
- Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with departments regularly for projects and daily operations ensuring clear communication alignment of goals and timely execution of tasks.
- Assist the departmental administration in planning budgeting accounting and fund allocation regarding Technology Infrastructure
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting capabilities to Food Service Managers and Workers Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to support employee development and promote technological proficiency
- Coordinate and interface with other external agencies which impact the food and nutrition program.
- Oversee and support technological infrastructure across more than 86 locations across the county ensuring all equipment is operational up to date and aligned with organizational standards.
- Manage databases containing confidential information such as student and employee date as well as financial records.
- Develop and update technology manuals for food service use in schools.
- Prepare order and maintain technology equipment used in schools.
- Process service and financial information from schools for program and financial accountability.
- Assist in the evaluation and long-range planning of the food service program.
- Assist in maintaining the departments role as a service function to schools.
