Job Summary
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT / CRT Accepted)
Location: Cleveland OH 44195
Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Block Scheduling: Not Available
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care within an acute care hospital environment. The therapist will be responsible for managing ventilators performing respiratory treatments and ensuring optimal respiratory support for patients in critical and general care units.
This position requires flexibility for weekend assignments and potential floating to affiliated facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective respiratory therapy to patients of all ages in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
Operate monitor and maintain mechanical ventilation and respiratory equipment.
Administer prescribed medications and oxygen therapy as directed by physicians.
Evaluate and document patient responses to treatment and make necessary adjustments.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
Float between units or facilities as needed based on operational requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory care experience required.
CRT or RRT credentials accepted.
NBRC certification and AHA BLS certification must be active and in hand at the time of submission.
Active Ohio RRT license required prior to start date.
Contract options: 8 or 12 weeks available.
Weekend coverage as needed; floating to nearby affiliated facilities may be required.
All work history including prior roles at the facility system must be included in the submission profile.
All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview.
