Experience
6 Months related experience Preferred
6 Months customer service Preferred
Certifications and Licenses
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
Skills
Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact maturity and a professional attitude.
Excellent verbal communication.
Ability to read write speak and understand the English language.
Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.
What You Will Do:
Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
Deliver and pick up patient care equipment supplies mail patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas.
Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.
Monitors systems: RTLS security cameras HUGS fire panel generator annunciator medical gas and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.
Secures necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control.
Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
Assists patients in dressing appropriately for procedures.
Deliver patient concierge services.
