Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedAccounting Managerwith a background in thewaste management or recycling industry. This role is responsible for managing all accounting functions including general ledger accounts payable/receivable payroll and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: $80000 $120000 per year (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy across billing collections payroll and vendor payments
- Manage scale house accounting and software including weight ticket reconciliation and invoicing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for leadership
- Maintain general ledger post journal entries and reconcile bank accounts
- Handle AR and AP including invoicing deposits vendor payments and collections
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure tax compliance
- Assist with budgeting forecasting and audit preparation
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams
- Bachelors in Accounting Finance or related field
- CPA required or strongly preferred
- 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Industry experience inwaste management or recyclingpreferred
- Proficient withQuickBooksPC Scale andSoft-Pakor similar software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail organization and communication skills
