7:00-3:302nd ShiftWork FOUR DAYS Per Week on 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.)Basic Functions and Scope of Responsibilities:
The Paint Technician position has the authority and responsibility to perform material prep finishing and simple assembly operations within tolerances and planning estimates.
Principle Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints plannings sketches for material prep and paint operations.
Responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting
Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formulas
Utilize spray gun and apply paint in conformance with all specifications
Familiar with safely handling solvents and chemicals
Able to utilizing various spray painting tools and equipment such as pressure pots spray guns hoses nozzles gauges cup guns paint gun cleaner unit protective spray painting equipment paint shakers.
Able to read a Film Thickness Gage as well as reading and interpreting Product Data Sheets
Can identify and correct paint defects
Perform in-process inspections on all parts and assemblies.
Interface with Quality Assurance personnel regarding inspection criteria and results.
Record paint usage in database.
Conform to all requirements of Quality System and any an all customer invoked quality requirements (AS9100 for example).
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S standards.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
