The Opportunity
This position works out of our Alameda CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy lose weight or enhance athletic performance.
What Youll Work On:
- Build and maintain features across our web application and Azure Functions backend in a modern TypeScript monorepo
- Develop responsive accessible UI components using React and Tailwind CSS
- Integrate third-party services including CommerceTools Contentful CMS Auth0 Braze and payment providers
- Write comprehensive tests using Vitest React Testing Library and Playwright
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Debug and resolve issues across the full stack from UI to serverless functions
- Work with marketing and analytics teams to implement tracking and customer engagement features
- Contribute to our monorepo architecture using Turborepo and pnpm workspaces
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6)
- Hands-on experience building production applications with React and (or similar frameworks like Remix Gatsby)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with modern CSS approaches (Tailwind CSS CSS-in-JS or styled-components)
- Understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility standards
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with (App Router Server Components Server Actions)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms particularly Azure (Functions Service Bus Blob Storage) or AWS
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like CommerceTools or similar
- Familiarity with headless CMS systems such as Strapi orContentful
- Experience with payment integration and PCI compliance
- Knowledge of authentication systems like Auth0 NextAuth or similar
- Understanding of monorepo architectures using Turborepo
- Familiarity with testing frameworks: Vitest Jest Playwright or Cypress
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Knowledge of error monitoring tools like Sentry or similar APM solutions
