Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Histotechnologist for an exciting Travel job in Lawrenceville GA.
Responsibilities:
Perform histologic techniques including tissue processing embedding sectioning and staining for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare high-quality specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimens processes and results.
Follow laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and healthcare team regarding specimen status and results.
Maintain attention to detail and ensure quality control standards are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty (pathology laboratory).
Required certification: ASCP HT or HTL.
Strong attention to detail physical dexterity and good written and oral communication skills.
Must successfully pass a Color-Acuity Screening Test.
