Claims Surveyor
Were working with a respected consultancy looking for a talented Claims Surveyor to join their specialist disputes and claims team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a varied portfolio of construction claims while working closely with clients and legal teams.
The Role:Youll independently manage a live caseload of construction claims from variations and prolongation to disruption providing advice preparing documentation and leading negotiations to reach fair settlements.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of claims including preparation of supporting documents and negotiation strategy.
- Collaborate closely with client teams and project stakeholders.
- Attend meetings present findings and lead claim discussions.
- Assist in developing business and promoting services to existing and prospective clients.
- Maintain a high standard of professional ethics and confidentiality.
- About You:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
- Chartered (MRICS) preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and claims procedures.
- Experience preparing detailed articulate claims documentation.
- Excellent communication negotiation and report-writing skills.
- Able to work autonomously meet deadlines and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
Location: - West Midlands or commutable to London (3 days per week in office)
