The NVE Facilities Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible engineering maintenance operations and quality management programs supporting the DISA Headquarters. The FOM shall ensure both NVE personnel and subcontractors abide by program contractual and industrial standards/best practices where required which meet the requirements of the DISA Base Operations Support contract. The NVE FOM is sole administrator of the BOS performance requirements ensuring objectives and standards are met for:
- Defining required facility investments developing plans and schedules and overseeing the implementation of those investments
- Janitorial services and recycling initiatives
- Ground maintenance and landscaping
- Pavement sweeping and snow removal
The FOM shall have ten (10) years experience as a manager in a multidiscipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract. Multidiscipline environment includes operations maintenance landscaping SRM and custodial. Comparable project size and complexity means a project that supports facility Sustainment Restoration and Modernization of a complex of at leastsq ft. The FOM shall be readily available on-site during regular working hours. An industry recognized certification in Facilities Management is required.
