Job Summary

Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 14 Weeks

Pay Range: $21 $31/hour
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Med/Surg Float Poolfor an exciting job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect patient care including monitoring vital signs assisting with bathing feeding toileting and mobility.
Support patients recovering from surgery trauma or acute illnesses with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Serve as a safety companion for patients at risk of falls confusion or behavioral challenges.
Maintain a clean safe and compliant environment adhering to infection control and hospital safety standards.
Assist nursing staff with patient admissions transfers and discharges.
Observe and promptly report any changes in patient condition to nursing or medical personnel.
Demonstrate flexibility professionalism and strong communication while floating between Med/Surg units.
Uphold patient dignity confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Active New York State CNA Certification (in good standing)
Current BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year of patient care experience in a hospital rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility
Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital preferred
Proven ability to perform ADLs and function effectively as a patient safety companion
