Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $48 - $53/hr

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapist for an exciting job in Cincinnati OH.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients and monitor their response to respiratory interventions
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (invasive and noninvasive)
Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately
Educate patients on disease management wellness and home care
Precept students and new staff as needed
Consult with physicians regarding cardiopulmonary status
Participate in departmental meetings in-services and competency reviews
May assume charge or team leader responsibilities

Required:

RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care
Strong knowledge of critical care related to cardiopulmonary conditions

Preferred:

13 years of experience
Active membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)

Required Education:

Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program with RRT credential

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Current state license to practice respiratory care
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Preferred Certifications:

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) for NICU
