Associated with the Galeries Lafayette group and present in Portugal in Leiria La Redoute is looking for a DevOps Engineer.

About the Position

As a DevOps Engineer youll be at the heart of our infrastructure evolution responsible for designing building and maintaining cloud platforms that enable our teams to innovate faster and deploy with confidence. This role spans cloud infrastructure management Infrastructure as Code development and identity management systems - all underpinned by a philosophy of automation and best practices.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing and managing our Azure environments while developing and maintaining robust infrastructure as code. Youll work across multiple dimensions of our platform - from Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads to cloud services to security and compliance - ensuring everything runs reliably efficiently and securely.

Beyond the technical aspects youll advance DevOps culture helping developers adopt cloud-native practices sharing knowledge openly and fostering an environment where everyone understands the value of good infrastructure. Youll take pride in reducing operational friction automating repetitive tasks and helping your colleagues succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design build and maintain scalable reliable and secure infrastructure on Azure
• Develop and evolve Infrastructure as Code to ensure repeatable version-controlled deployments
• Continuously optimize cloud platform capabilities for cost efficiency and performance

Observability & Reliability

• Establish and maintain comprehensive observability across our Azure environments (monitoring logging tracing)
• Proactively identify bottlenecks and reliability risks working to prevent issues before they impact users
• Analyze troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention

Kubernetes & Container Management

• Design deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads on Azure
• Optimize container orchestration scaling and resource management for reliability and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within containerized environments

Automation & CI/CD

• Advance automation across infrastructure provisioning testing and deployment pipelines
• Implement and optimize CI/CD practices to streamline the software development lifecycle
• Build tools and processes that empower developers to self-serve and deploy with confidence

Knowledge Sharing & Enablement

• Guide developers and teams toward cloud-native and containerized practices
• Document infrastructure decisions runbooks and best practices to ensure knowledge is accessible
• Mentor colleagues and foster a culture of continuous learning

Security & Compliance

• Integrate security best practices into all infrastructure and deployment processes
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and build secure systems by design
• Conduct code reviews and implement mechanisms to continuously improve quality and security

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Azure in production environments
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code practices and tools
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Proficiency with code repositories and version control (Git-based workflows)
• Solid understanding of observability best practices and implementation
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently while actively collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills (written verbal and listening) across all levels
• Fluency in English (mandatory)

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms and tools (GitLab etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of observability stacks (monitoring logging distributed tracing alerting)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in agile teams understanding how DevOps practices improve team efficiency and delivery velocity
• Experience with security frameworks and cloud security best practices
• Relevant cloud certifications
• Experience with public cloud platforms beyond Azure
