Job Summary
The Ocean Community YMCA Naik Family Branch located in Mystic CT is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Staff Member to help ensure our facility is clean safe and welcoming for members and staff. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a clean organized space wed love to hear from you!
Job Details:
- Hours: M-F 1pm-8pm
- Part-time non-exempt
- Salary range: $16.35-17.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of restrooms locker rooms and common areas
- Light maintenance tasks such as trash removal sweeping mopping vacuuming and restocking supplies
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces
- Support facility operations and respond to maintenance needs as they arise
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior custodial or maintenance experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Must be dependable detail-oriented and able to work independently
